Sunday July 31st promises to be your best day of the summer!
The Ramona Street Fair began as a Lents Town Center specific celebration on the day of the opening of TriMet’s MAX Green Line. The Ramona Street cul de Sac forms one of the primary pedestrian entrances to the Lents Town Center / Foster Rd light rail station and was a natural location for an annual event celebrating the accessibility and business friendly environment in Lents Town Center. The Ramona Street Fair has been such a great success that a part of the upcoming streetscape improvements in Lents Town Center include features that will make Ramona a true festival street.
This year Ramona Street Fair has expanded to include over 60 food and crafts vendors includes beer from the Buckman Botanical Brewery and Lents Commons and wine from Hip Chicks Do Wine. The music line up is fantastic and will be headlined by Chevrona, a well loved gypsy-punk staple in Southeast Portland. A tour of Lents area neighborhood Greenways and Green Streets sets out at 12:30 pm – so bring your bike and get a good feel for the area that your business could call home.
